New VTE treatment 80% effective and reduces hazard of bleeding, says McMaster researcher

Three months after health officials announced Canada's first known case of rare, post-vaccination blood clots, an international team of researchers, led by professor Jeffrey Weitz at McMaster University in Hamilton, has found a treatment being developed for people with, or at risk of, blood clots to be highly effective.
