Ravens activate Lamar Jackson from COVID-19 list
The Baltimore Ravens activated quarterback Lamar Jackson from the COVID-19 list Friday, the team announced.
Jackson, who missed the previous 10 days of training camp after testing positive, could potentially return to practice as soon as Saturday.
The former NFL MVP was back at the team's facility Friday, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
Jackson sat out one game last season after testing positive for COVID-19.
The signal-caller is in line for a major contract extension before the start of the 2021 campaign. Josh Allen, who was also selected in the 2018 draft, signed a six-year deal Friday that's reportedly worth $258 million.
Running back Gus Edwards, who was placed on the reserve list at the same time as Jackson, returned to practice Friday.
