Mounting an Android phone
by M0M0 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5N2Z9)
Today I bought a Pixel 5, installed GrapheneOS on it and tried to copy my music to the device. I typed:
Code:localhost# jmtpfs /media/externalusb
Device 0 (VID=18d1 and PID=4ee1) is a Google Inc Nexus/Pixel (MTP).
Android device detected, assigning default bug flags
localhost# ls /media/externalusb
ls: cannot access '/media/externalusb': Input/output errorI also can't access the device from Thunar. The phone was unlocked all the time, rebooting the PC or the phone doesn't help. The cable and USB port should be fine, I had no problems using them to install GrapheneOS. Do I miss something obvious?
Edit: I just tried to mount the phone from an Ubuntu-live-USB and it worked, so it seems to be a Slackware related issue.
