Police officer struck by allegedly stolen vehicle in Dunnville parking lot
An Ontario Provincial Police officer was struck in a Dunnville parking lot on Aug. 7 at around 6 p.m.
The officer sustained minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital," Const. Mary Gagliardi wrote in an email.
Police had been attempting to stop an allegedly stolen vehicle - a dark-coloured Ford pickup truck that was pulling a white, enclosed trailer - when the officer was struck. The vehicle reportedly fled the scene.
The OPP shared some photos taken during the incident that appear to show two individuals in the pickup truck, in the Canadian Tire parking lot.
