Ravens' Harbaugh: Bateman out 'a number of weeks' with leg injury
Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Rashod Bateman could miss considerable time with a leg injury, head coach John Harbaugh revealed Wednesday.
"He's got a soft tissue - a leg issue - that's gonna be weeks," Harbaugh said. "It will be a number of weeks. I don't know how many, it's not gonna be months, but it'll be weeks."
Bateman suffered the injury Tuesday at practice, falling to the ground after pulling up short on a slant route. He eventually limped off the field.

Baltimore selected Bateman 27th overall in April's draft. He seemed poised to begin the season in a prominent role after impressing in training camp.
The Ravens will move forward with Sammy Watkins and Marquise Brown penciled in the starting lineup, with Tylan Wallace, Devin Duvernay, James Proche, Miles Boykin, and others competing for snaps behind them.
Bateman posted 472 yards and two touchdowns in five games as a junior at Minnesota in 2020. He had 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns over a full season as a sophomore.
