Bluetooth speaker on XFCE with Slackware Current not working
by mfoley from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5NP8D)
It seem like every time I upgrade I have to reconfigure my bluetooth speaker. I am running XFCE on Slackware-Current, kernel 5.12.14. The system settings appears to recognize my bluetooth USB dongle in Settings Manager > Bluetooth adapters: BlueZ 5.59. The Bluetooth Adapters page just has Visibility Setting (Always Visible) and Friendly Name (BlueZ 5.59). Unlike the KDE settings dialogue, there is nothing showing devices connected or a list of visible devices.
pauvcontrol does not list this device in it "Input Devices".
This speaker worked fine "out of the box" with Slackware 14.2 and KDE. Now, the speaker blinks it's blue light indicating it's trying to connect, but never does.
Advice?
