i can't connect to kali linux with remote desktop

i was trying to download kali linux, when i wrote ip add on terminal it gave me my ip address and up to here everything was fine.
after i went to the start menu and opened remote desktop, i entered my ip address and it asked me for username and password, i entered everything but then it said: connect to sesman ip 127.0.0.1 port 3350 sesman connect ok

login failed for display 0.
I do not know what to do. please help me
