Accessing photos in SD card after phone reset

Hello,
I did a phone reset in the last few days, supposedly to make an app work. It still does not work. Before resetting it, i made sure to have backed up everything. But sadly, it seems it did not work.
First thing that did not work is the backup of SMS+MMS messages. I used SMS Backup+ to (try to) do it. Sad.
Second, when i open image gallery, i do not see the photos i had in the SD card.
But after installing a file manager (https://f-droid.org/pt_BR/packages/c...ilemanager.pro), i discover something apparently great: there are old files in the card!
Some apks are there. Some other files too. Some images in a folder i created are there. And the DCIM folder with a lot of photos and some movies are also there.
Now, the big problem. When i open the DCIM folder, no miniature is shown. It should take some seconds to do it for all images, this was usual. But now, after a few seconds, no miniature is shown. I try to open any image with gallery, just black screen. I come back to SD card, it is like empty. I take it out and put it back, everything is shown. But the process repeats, and sometimes there are a few photos which a miniature appears in the file manager.
How can i recover most files as possible? I can copy them to my Telegram account, to free the SD card - it has no space for a full copy of this DCIM folder, i just tried this.
