Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins was carted to the locker room Saturday after suffering a knee injury in the team's preseason finale.

The second-year pro will undergo tests Sunday to determine the severity of the injury, head coach John Harbaugh said postgame, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec.

Dobbins took a shot to the leg as Washington Football Team defenders tackled him at the end of a screen play during the first quarter. He left the field with his arms around trainers.

Dobbins is in line for a featured role in 2021 after emerging as the Ravens' top rusher during his rookie season. The 22-year-old topped the team with 805 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground in 2020, and his rise led to Baltimore cutting ties with Mark Ingram to start the offseason.

Gus Edwards and Justice Hill would likely share the workload if Dobbins is forced to miss significant time in the regular season.

The Ravens will take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1 on Sept. 13, which marks the season premiere of Monday Night Football.
