Multiple reboots at startup (before GRUB)

I have an MSI laptop (it's about 2 years old). Somewhere at the beginning of this year I started trying out Linux and made a dual boot with Ubuntu, eventually, I switched to Manjaro.
I had no issues like this before, but about 3-4 days ago it appeared for the first time: in the morning I started my laptop, as usual, I see the manufacturer logo and waiting for the GRUB menu to appear, but instead, my laptop reboots and I see the manufacturer logo again, and again, and again... The laptop made about 3-4 reboots like this and only then the GRUB menu appeared. Manjaro loaded without any issues but the time and date were incorrect. I then tried rebooting or doing a cold reboot to reproduce this issue but had no luck. On the next morning it happened again: 3-4 reboots and only then GRUB menu. I then thought maybe this is related to GRUB and changed to boot priorities to boot Windows instead of GRUB, but the next morning I had the same issue. Interestingly the time and date are correct every time this issue appears (it was incorrect only for the first time this issue appeared).
For the info: a few months ago I removed the battery because it was swollen so badly that it began to flex the laptop case. Just removed the battery - had no issues, maybe this information might help.
I have no idea how to investigate this kind of issue, and honestly don't know what forum to ask for help. I don't even know if this is a software or a hardware issue. Maybe somebody faced a similar problem?
