How to force restart when system goes to recovery console ?
by Michael Z Freeman from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5P105)
Hi,
I have a problem with my drive not mounting on cold boot. The system goes to recovery console. If I warm boot from there (CTRL-ALT DEL) then the system boots OK. This is not intermittent. The behaviour is the same every time.
How do I make Linux automatically restart once it finds it cannot mount the system drive, rather than having to manually hit CTR-ALT DEL every time ?
Cheers. Any help appreciated.
