Netwerk stats for RTMP server
by sajansen from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5P27Z)
Hey,
I have a few questions about showing stats for an RTMP server.
I have setup NGINX RTMP module and the streaming works fine. (setup with this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-UjQo_8_rY )
Now i would like to have some statistics on how the stream is coming into the server. This would include a network graph to see how stable the stream is. Also it wouldn't be bad to have some information on dropped frames, connection time and stuff like that.
One must is that the statistics are reachable through a web interface as the people that need to view this info don't have ssh access (or knowledge)
I did find some older posts about some stat.xml thingy but didn't really get it to work.
I also have tried some system monitoring tools but most of them don't show live network traffic, just summaries.
Im running this server in a freenas jail, freebsd 12.2p6
thanks,
sander
