Sudo vs Doas
by manjo from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5P7WV)
I just recently installed opendoas from the Manjaro Repositories and am somewhat impressed at the simplicity of its configuration. In doing a bit of research I came across claims that sudo was bloat or that there were security issues with sudo, whereas they more or less would sing the praises of doas as a good replacement for sudo.
Can any of you more experienced Linux users explain to me the pros and cons of sudo vs dodas?
Thanks in advance.
