named service not starting
by vinmansbrew from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5P8VT)
Ok, so background on this. The server WAS a working named server running rhel 6.10.
As a test, I decided to update the server to rhel 7.9.
Everything else on the server seems ok, however, named.service will not start.
This is essentially the error message:
/etc/named.rfc1912.zones:7: option 'allow-update' is not allowed in 'slave' zone
So, slight recap, it worked till rhel 7.9 update.
Thoughts? I suppose there could have been a drastic change in how named works, between 6 and 7.
