wifi keeps dropping on my home connection on this laptop

At home I normally connect to polar5G, my wifi.
This morning I lost the connection 3 times. I thought it was a service provider problem, restarted the routers.
But it seems the problem is this computer: an HP laptop 15s-er1004AU
My older laptop has no problem. Girlfriend has no problem. She more or less only uses her phone.
Stranger still: now I am connected through my mobile phone hotspot to write this and it hasn't dropped yet.
When I start I see a message, coming from the bios I presume, from HP about going to their remote diagnosis site, but that will only work for Windows I presume.
Does this mean my wifi card is dead?? How come it works through my phone??
