Driver going 107 km/h in front of Burlington school. Halton police have impounded the car

A driver is facing speeding and stunt driving charges and their car has been impounded for two weeks after Halon police say it was going 107 km/h in front of a Burlington school.
The incident occurred in front of Nelson High School Friday morning (Sept. 10), according to Halton police Const. Ryan Anderson.
The speed was 107 km/h in a 60 km/h community safety zone.
Charges of speeding and stunt driving have been laid and they include a 14-day vehicle impoundment of the Nissan Sentra and a seven day driver's licence suspension.
"It's not a good idea to travel 47 kph over the speed limit. Travelling 47kph over the posted limit, in a community safety zone, in front of a school, is an even worse idea," Halton police said in a tweet.
Halton officers are out with increased enforcement around schools this month with kids heading back to classes.
