Hi --
I'm new. Know next to nothing about Linux/Ubuntu. Linux is my OS on my laptop. Trying to get off the Win10 train wreck. Windows is actually a great OS, but so manipulative, and the personal data intrusion and gathering of info is impossible.
I got to your website while googling info about hard drives, how to display, how to mount, etc. Picked up some useful info. Basic question, though, not answered. I have two hdd's on my laptop. The only one listed is sdb. There should be an sda, but I don't seem to be able to find it. My thinking is that linux combined the two drives as one visible drive, but I'm not sure. Still pursuing this. No need for any responses. I think I can figure it out.
On my first log-in I was prompted to post a message. And that's what I'm doing. Looks like a great blog. Looking forward to using it a lot. Thanks.
