Questions about xscreensaver
by CurrentWave from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5PGMH)
Hello,
I went looking for a screen saver that would use my images in a slide show on my Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon edition.
I uninstalled the Cin-screen saver and installed xscreensaver. I read where one can do a slide show with my own images with it.
And on the Advanced tab I do see where the check box is checked for using my images in my wallpaper dir - good, however on the main tab view I see no where to select slide show, just all the bunches of moving screen savers I do not want. I've read the useless to me documentation for the program.
Can anyone help me figure this out?
And I'd like to set a shortcut key so I do not have to open the software just to launch the screen saver (like in Cinnamon's screen saver Ctl+ Alt+ 1 -->lowercase L)
Thanks
