Man dead after shooting outside Tim Hortons on King Street West in Hamilton

A man has died after a shooting in a Tim Hortons parking lot on King Street West Tuesday afternoon.
Hamilton paramedics responded to call at King Street West and Caroline Street around 2:50 p.m. and declared a man dead at the scene, said Hamilton Paramedic Service Supt. Dave Thompson. The victim's age is unknown.
Hamilton police are investigating and have asked residents to avoid the area.
