Hamilton police continue to investigate a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment building on Sanford Avenue North Monday afternoon.

Police were called for possible shots fired to the area of Sanford and Wilson Street shortly before 3 p.m. Sept. 13.

Detectives believe the incident happened in the parking lot of a highrise on Sanford.

On scene, police found evidence of a shooting, but noted it's early in the investigation.

There were no reported injuries and police found no blood on scene.

Photos from the scene showed what appeared to be bullet marks in a concrete wall behind 21 Sanford Ave. N., a building adjacent to one that houses the Catholic Children's Aid Society and near Cathedral High School.
