‘Lucky’ Hamilton man wins big lotto prize twice in one year
A Hamilton man is feeling very lucky" after winning big in the lottery for a second time in the past 12 months.
Robert MacDonald most recently won $100,000, matching six of seven Encore numbers in order in a Lottario draw on July 10.
The 77-year-old found out he won only after scanning his ticket, purchased at a Fennell Avenue Circle K.
Previously, OLG said, he collected $50,000 from an Ontario 49 win last October.
MacDonald plays the lottery regularly.
On his most recent visit to the OLG office in Toronto, the lucky winner said if you stay positive, your time will come as well."
He plans to invest some of his winnings and also spend on his family.
