Is there better security using multiple browsers?
by JASlinux from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5PTVP)
I mean just as much security from big tech itself than outdated browser exploits.
Webites generally seem to know what browsers I'm using. I also have multiple e-mails with the same service (e.g., G-mail, Outlook) that I open with different browsers.
Does using different browsers offer any kind of protection?
Google offers 'login with a different account'. I'd just as soon use a different browser for additional accounts. Completely separate configuration and cache data is created.
Is this making life too difficult? Is there a better method than using many different browsers for security?
