The Indianapolis Colts could roll with a two-quarterback system to cope with potentially losing Carson Wentz.

If an ankle injury sidelines the Colts' starter, then Jacob Eason and Brett Hundley might both play in Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, sources told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Hundley, who is currently on the practice squad, reportedly took the majority of the first-team reps during Wednesday's practice.

While the Colts still hope Wentz can be ready for Week 3, a decision on his status might not come until game day, added Pelissero.

Wentz sprained both ankles in the Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Eason replaced the veteran and threw a late interception that helped seal the 27-24 win for the Rams.

Eason, a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has just five career pass attempts and didn't see any playing time during his rookie season.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Hundley started nine games for the Green Bay Packers in 2017. He threw for 1,836 yards and nine touchdowns against 12 interceptions while adding 270 yards and two scores on the ground.
