While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare for a road trip to face the Los Angeles Rams, their Week 4 matchup continues to get attention.

Alex Guerrero, Tom Brady's personal trainer and business partner, said New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick "never evolved" his treatment of the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

"I think his emotions or feelings never evolved with age," Guerrero told the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian. "I think in time, with Tom, as Tom got into his late 30s or early 40s, I think Bill was still trying to treat him like that 20-year-old kid that he drafted. And all the players, I think, realized Tom was different."

Guerrero's comments come just over a week before one of New England's most anticipated regular-season contests, when Brady's new team takes on his former club at Gillette Stadium on Oct. 3.

The 44-year-old spent 20 seasons with the Patriots, winning three MVP awards and six Super Bowl titles, all while establishing multiple franchise passing records. He left as a free agent in 2020.

Brady initially described the matchup as "like when your high school friends meet your college friends" when the schedule was released.

The reigning Super Bowl-winning passer also said he's looking forward to returning to Foxborough.

"I'm sure it'll be a great opportunity for me to go back to a place I know as well as anyone," he said. "It'll be a great day for football."

Meanwhile, the Patriots will attempt to win their second game of the season when they host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
