Madubuike, Houston among Ravens placed on COVID-19 list
The Baltimore Ravens placed defensive linemen Brandon Williams and Justin Madubuike as well as linebackers Justin Houston and Jaylon Ferguson on the COVID-19 reserve, the team announced Friday.
Ferguson tested positive Friday morning, which resulted in Baltimore undergoing contact tracing, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
The vaccination status of those players is unclear, but it's unlikely they will be available to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
Fully vaccinated players who test positive and are asymptomatic need two negative tests 24 hours apart to return, while unvaccinated individuals are subject to a mandatory 10-day quarantine.
Unvaccinated players who are ruled high-risk close contacts must sit out at least five days and can return after a negative test.
Ravens IDL Sunday will be down starting Brandon Williams, Derek Wolfe and Justin Madubuike. That leaves them with Calais Campbell, Justin Ellis, Broderick Washington and likely practice squad callup Kahlil McKenzie.

At Ravens OLB, they'll be down Jaylon Ferguson, Justin Houston and possibly Pernell McPhee depending if he can go with a shoulder injury.

That will leave them Tyus Bowser, Odafe Oweh, Daelin Hayes, maybe McPhee and possibly PS callup Chris Smith.
Baltimore will also be missing important players due to injury, including star left tackle Ronnie Stanley, who's out for a second straight game.
