Is Your Car's (Non-existent) Extended Warranty Expiring

I'm sure all of you, at least all of you in the States, have gotten the spam phone calls about your car's warranty. Heck, I was getting them--sometimes two or three a day--about my 18-year-old pick-up truck, which itself was expiring after miles and miles of faithful service. (It left for the great NPR station donation in the sky a few days ago.)

Today I read a fascinating article about the workings of this scam, which I commend to your attention. I'm also curious whether such calls are a thing outside the States.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=oM2JVQFZn7w:99e_aa6mJj4:F7zBnMy latest?i=oM2JVQFZn7w:99e_aa6mJj4:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=oM2JVQFZn7w:99e_aa6mJj4:gIN9vFwoM2JVQFZn7w
