Papa Leo’s Restaurant on Concession Street closes

Breakfast and lunch on Hamilton Mountain will never be the same.

Leo Santos announced on Instagram Tuesday that he is closing Papa Leo's Restaurant on Concession Street.

It is with mixed emotions that we inform you that we will be closing. This chapter has been one that will never be forgotten! To all of our customers, you helped make our jobs a tremendous joy. Every day we were able to engage in amazing ways that made all of you feel like family," he said on social media.

The restaurant's website says the business is not open and the menu has been removed. The phone number is also out of service. They had been offering takeout during the pandemic.

Santos opened the uptown" restaurant more than 10 years ago, catering to the area's breakfast and lunch niche and has been an active part of the Hamilton business community, always urging residents to buy local.

I wish you all the best! Continue to be kind, eat local, and never skip out on your breakfast!" he said in his farewell post.
