Urban Meyer appeared dejected after the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, marking his team's fourth straight loss to open the season.

"It's devastating. Heartbreaking," Meyer said, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco.

"I just see a good team in there. I see good guys," he continued. "I see good hearts. I see guys that work and I told them I'm not wrong. I'm not wrong about that stuff."

The Jaguars looked to be in control while up 14-0 entering halftime. However, they were outscored 24-7 in the second half, with Bengals kicker Evan McPherson booting a game-winning field goal as time expired.

The loss weighed especially heavy on the Jaguars head coach, with Meyer telling reporters his head was "spinning" postgame, according to CBS Sports' Jordan Dajani.

"There are no breaks," Meyer said. "I mean no disrespect, but you have to make your own. We don't look at it that way. I've said this from Day 1: The core of this team has good players. We're getting better each week. It's sickening we couldn't win that game."

"That's a heartbroken locker room. We've got to get them back," he added.

The Jaguars suffered their 19th straight defeat, and Meyer is in uncharted waters while not winning. The 0-4 start is the first four-game losing streak of his coaching career.
