Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool won't play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers due to a hamstring injury, the Steelers announced Saturday.

Claypool, 23, sustained the injury in practice this week; Pittsburgh listed him as questionable on Friday's injury report after he didn't practice that day.

The second-year receiver - who didn't miss any regular-season games while racking up 11 touchdowns as a rookie - leads all Steelers wideouts in targets (29), receptions (15), and yards (211) this season.

Pittsburgh's struggling offense did receive some good news ahead of its Week 4 matchup, as wide receiver Diontae Johnson will return after missing last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals with a knee injury. Neither Johnson nor fellow receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster carried an injury designation on Friday's report; Smith-Schuster hasn't missed a game this season but was listed on the Steelers' injury report over the last two weeks due to a rib injury.

The Steelers currently rank 28th in scoring, averaging only 16.7 points per game.
