Mint Cinnamon flash to usb drive failed
by zorber from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5QCX5)
I want to replace Win 10 on my laptop with Linux Mint Cinnamon but its not going well. I downloaded the Mint iso and tried to flash it to a 32gb Kingston USB using Etcher but the flash failed, which left the USB with a "Please insert a disc into usb drive" error.
I reformatted the USB with diskmgmt and tried re-flashing this time using Rufus but the flash failed again causing the same error to the USB so had to reformat it a second time.
I dont think there is anything wrong with the USB its brand new and I tested it by copying some files to it.
