Server Rebuild Network Issue

I had 4 file systems, 3 of which were RAID 1 and one very large RAID 10 for data. Over time I lost 3 disk drives (2 - 1 TB drive and 1 - 2 TB drive), I managed to get most of the data tucked away onto another machine on the network so I decided to do a total rebuild of this machine from bare metal. That was done well without incident except the wired ethernet wouldn't (and still doesn't) work and I can't figure out why. All of the connections (5) go to different places and I must say I defined all of the NICs during install, which is something I don't normally do. I normally follow the instructions found at Server World.
With no network I'm stuck! Any ideas?
