Update issues in linux mint 20.2 UMA

I took my laptop to computer store to install 20.2 UMA. Did not feel comfortable doing it myself...The man was not as well versed in Linux as I had hoped. Rather than do a fresh install as my friend suggested I have him do, he went through all the versions of linux mint that had taken place after my version stopped being supported,

That was late August. Starting September, I have had some issues on some updates,
I use the regular update on UMA as well as one my friend told me I can use in terminal: ./update
I have saved the results of some of those updates....

Right now, regular UMA update shows my system is up to date.....
**To be honest, I have questions about the terminal update command as to if an update really occured when it says at the end :
Calculating upgrade... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded..
THat looks like the upgrade was not done...
I would ask the creator of that command, but that is not possible now.

**Is the regular UMA update info reliable ? If it says it is up to date ?

One terminal update in September said
Warning: No support for locale: en_US.utf8

**Should I do something to fix that ?

All the results below are in the order that I did the updates.
THe most recent problem started 10-5 with the regular UMA update message

maggie@linux ~ $ ./update

**Anything change ?

I put asterics in front of questions I wrote.I sent all of this in hopes someone in the forum can help me fix whatever they see needs fixed on my linux.
Hopefully you can tell if the terminal command results that say
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded..
really mean there were no changes.

** AS I asked above, should I just rely on the UMA regular update manager ?
That would be easier.I think I could click on that and see those details.... Yet, the command update does make me utilize the terminal.
I am open to any tips as to confirming my system IS up to date in all ways.
Maybe you know other commands I can use in terminal for that ?
I will be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks in advance. :)latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=HaJubXBQL4A:_cSx38Cvgms:F7zBnMy latest?i=HaJubXBQL4A:_cSx38Cvgms:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=HaJubXBQL4A:_cSx38Cvgms:gIN9vFwHaJubXBQL4A
