I just heard of a Mint version called Debian Edition. Am I the only person who sees that to someone with enough experience to know what Mint and Debian respectively are, that just sounds ridiculous? In the sense that Mint is based on Ubuntu which is based on Debian, Mint is just Debian twice removed. And someone nevertheless wanted Mint to resemble Debian?

Yes, yes, it's actually about what software repositories are used; but if one dwells on that, it's not nearly as funny. The name makes me think of people who marry their relatives.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=_X4FWcM-k3s:p4g0_WdHPWo:F7zBnMy latest?i=_X4FWcM-k3s:p4g0_WdHPWo:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=_X4FWcM-k3s:p4g0_WdHPWo:gIN9vFw_X4FWcM-k3s
