Red Hat: Remote login from another workstation
by scottieH from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5QP5M)
When I was using Solaris, I could use the GUI Login Screen to log in to a different host.
Example:
I walk up to Bob_Desktop, and see the initial GUI Login Screen that says (something to the effect of)
Welcome to Bob_Desktop
Enter your user name.
I enter my Username & Password, and I am logged in to Bob_Desktop.
I can log out and return to the GUI Login Screen.
Then, I click an option button (Sorry, don't remember exactly what it was) and select Log in to another host (Or maybe it was remote login?).
I type in ScottieH_Desktop.
The initial Login GUI then shows:
Welcom to ScottieH_Desktop
Enter your username.
I enter my Username & Password, and I am logged in to ScottieH_Desktop.
There is no login session on Bob_Desktop.
Question:
Is there a way to do this on RHEL 7?
