New York Giants head coach Joe Judge isn't ruling out Daniel Jones for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams after the quarterback exited last week's contest with a concussion.

Jones is currently in the concussion protocol, but Judge said Wednesday the passer "is on track with everything," according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.

The coach told reporters Jones would only observe Wednesday's practice and appeared to be surprised when told he was on the field in pads.

Jones ended up working off to the side, according to Raanan. Judge said Jones could suit up for the Week 6 bout if he's cleared. He also didn't rule out the possibility that the signal-caller plays without practicing.

If the former first-round quarterback cannot go, it will be Mike Glennon under center for the Giants. Making matters more difficult, New York will also likely be without receiver Kenny Golladay and running back Saquon Barkley this week due to injuries.

Jones has thrown for four touchdowns against one interception this season. His 95.6 passer rating stands to be a new career high. Meanwhile, the Giants sit at the bottom of the NFC East at 1-4.
