how to make a smooth transition from paper and chrome memory to keepass

hi
so one my pc some passwords are remembered simple ones, probably by windows or chrome browser.
i do have other password on paper only.
how to do the transition?
would i be better off to change all my passwords for complicated ones(through the help of kee pass) if so do i need to enter every website and click either change password or lost password and change for a hard one or is there a faster way?
You guys that use a password manager,
I imagine that using a PM goes hand in hand with using strong passwords right ? how to do the transition smoothly?
