Cannot open root device "nvme0n1p14" or unknown block(0,0)

I have recently changed my laptop computer this now has a 10th Generation Intel Processor and I have a feeling that this might be the reason for these issues, drivers perhaps. And since then I have

found that I have installed arch linux-mx and gentoo on this laptop without any issues. But the lfs Version 11.0 which I have just built will not boot. From the initial boot scripts error

message:

Quote:
"Cannot open root device "nvme0n1p14" or unknown block(0,0) : error -6 Kernel Panic not synching".
Because of this early stage in the boot process there are no more error messages.

I have over the years built many lfs systems and never had issues with booting them. I have installed all the linux-firmware packages and even tried adding a initrd.

So I am stuck at this stage. The only changes being the 10th Generation Intel Processor and ssd drive.

I have spent a lot of time trying to sort this but it is beyond me. I have checked this error message on google but cannot find any guidance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
