Report: Bills' Knox suffered broken hand vs. Titans
Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox broke a bone in his hand during Monday's 34-31 loss to the Tennessee Titans, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The timeline for his recovery remains unclear, but there's optimism that Knox will not miss much time with the Bills entering a bye week, Garafolo adds.
Despite the injury, Knox was able to throw a two-point conversion to quarterback Josh Allen in the third quarter before being sidelined for the remainder of the game.
The 24-year-old Knox has become a fixture in the Bills' passing game through six weeks. He's hauled in 21 receptions for 286 yards and leads the team with five touchdown grabs.
Buffalo is thin at the position if Knox misses significant time: The only other tight end on the active roster is Tommy Sweeney.
The Bills return to action Oct. 31 against the Miami Dolphins.
