HP 2055 usb printer does not work
by swgeek from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5QXMZ)
Hi Folks;
I am a linux user, and have been using Linux since 1998. I have gotten OpenBSD installed, with fvwm, and later xfce4. Got networking working, and a variety of ports installed (firefox, libreoffice, texlive, a variety of editors and utilities). Printing to an HP 2055dn on usb has got me stumped. Installed cups, et all. Can install the HP. Does not work (shows "processing" and never prints. One problem is disabling ulpt. Nothing in any of the posts I have read works. ulpt still shows up in dmesg. First problem, I guess is that: disable ulpt. Second need is to give the wheel group control over cups.
