[SOLVED] rhel - how to install grub-customizer (gnome)?

Hi all,
Can anyone help me with installing grub-customizer on a rhel-based distro (ie. CentOS Stream 8)?
I can find a bunch of articles like this one
which refer to installing on debian-based installs (by first adding a PPA repository with apt-add-repository), and then installing. These same articles speak of simply running sudo dnf install grub-customizer , but my machine's dnf can't find any such packages.
Perhaps a sub-question: can PPA repositories by used with rhel? If so, then how do I add these to my yum/dnf?
