Can't drag file host (WIN10) to guest (bodhi-6.0.0-64) in VirtualBox 6.1
by luvbodhi from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5R1PV)
In BODHI guest I executed:
sudo apt-get purge virtualbox*
sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
and can drag files from BODHI guest to WIN10 host. I can bidrectionally copy clipboard data. I've tried restarts of BODHI and tried bidrectional as well as host to guest "Drag and Drop" settings.
When I try to drag a file from WIN10 host to BODHI guest there is a small red circle with a slash through it in the lower right hand corner of the file's icon. I've tried copying the WIN10 host file to the BODHI guest desktop and thunar file manager. The file is a text file created by WIN10 notepad.
My guess is the BODHI guest requires some permission to allow the drag and drop operation to occur.
