Problem installing new printer. Printer recognised but cannot find how to enable Publish shared printers option in cinnamon

I have a problem installing an HP Desk Jet 2700 printer on a cinnamon distro. The printer is recognised by the computer but the Printer Troubleshooter shows the following message:
"Although one or more printers are marked as being shared, this print server is not exporting shared printers to the network. Enable the Publish shared printers option on the server settings using the printing administration tool. To start this tool select System > Administration > Print Settings from the main menu".
The print settings tool does not appear to exist in the menu. How to solve the problem ? Could some kind person help me ?
