Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced Friday that quarterback Baker Mayfield will start Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter.

Mayfield missed Cleveland's win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football last week due to a torn labrum and fractured humerus bone in his non-throwing shoulder.

The 26-year-old tore his labrum in Week 2 and suffered the fracture in Week 6 versus the Arizona Cardinals.

Mayfield is 3-3 this season and has posted a passer rating of 97.8, which would represent a career high. However, his 41.2 QBR ranks 25th among starting signal-callers.

Case Keenum replaced Mayfield last week, tossing for 199 yards and one touchdown while helping Cleveland snap a two-game losing streak.

On Friday, the Browns also ruled out cornerback Denzel Ward (hamstring) and listed Odell Beckham Jr. (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday, according to Scott Petrak of The Chronicle.
