Saints' Winston carted off with knee injury, reportedly undergoing MRI
New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston is reportedly getting an MRI on his knee after being carted off during Sunday's 36-27 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a source told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.
Winston suffered the ailment in the first half after his left leg bent awkwardly while Buccaneers linebacker Devin White tackled him. He initially headed to the medical tent after Saints personnel helped him off the field.

The former No. 1 overall pick, who spent the first five seasons of his career in Tampa Bay, completed 6-of-10 passes for 56 yards and a touchdown before exiting.
Winston was in the midst of his first full campaign as New Orleans' starting quarterback. He entered the game with a 4-2 record, 13 touchdowns, three interceptions, and a 102.4 passer rating, which would stand as a career high.
Trevor Siemian stepped in under center for the Saints following Winston's departure. He completed 16-of-29 passes with one touchdown to zero interceptions during the bout.
