Slackware64-current-live not booting on new UEFI system.

Hello.
Hopefully someone can help me. I have new ThinkPad X13 Gen 2 AMD. I downloaded AlienBOB's Slackware Live from https://slackware.nl/slackware/slack...-current-live/ this evening and I dd'd it to a usb thumbdrive like any other iso. I checked the md5 of the downloaded iso and it passed.
This is my first UEFI system, but I did disable secure boot. I have never tried Slackware Live so maybe I missed a step. I am not familiar with grub but, when I boot off of the thumbdrive I am presented with a grub command prompt. I tried running the "linux" and "boot" commands on multiple files within the the "cd0/boot" directory. I got an error message saying that I need to load a kernel.
I tried searching around for an answer but I have not found one. Does anyone have an idea on what the problem is?
