One person injured in shooting on Hamilton Mountain that police believe was targeted

One person was injured and two suspects are sought in what Hamilton police are describing as a targeted shooting on the Mountain Friday.
Police responding to reports of a gunshot around Upper Wentworth Street and Emperor Avenue at 9:20 p.m., Nov. 5, found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The 22-year-old victim was treated on scene by paramedics before being taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said in a media release that they believe the shooting was targeted and do not believe the public is in danger.
Two men that police believe were involved in the shooting fled westbound on Emperor Avenue in an silver car, police say.
The suspects are described as a white man in his early 20s, wearing a black hooded sweater and blue-grey do-rag; and a black man, also in his early 20s, shorter than the first suspect, with braided hair, wearing an army green coloured do-rag.
Police are asking for assistance from the public in the investigation. Any witnesses, or area residents with surveillance footage of the incident are asked to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hamilton Police Services Mountain office at (905) 546-3851 and speak to the on-duty Det. Sgt., or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at crimestoppershamilton.com.
