Nine people sent to hospital after Cambridge crash

CAMBRIDGE - Nine people were sent to the hospital after a crash on Sunday night.

At around 8:30 p.m., emergency services were called to the Townline and Pinebush Road intersection for a collision.

Police said a 21-year-old Cambridge woman in a black GMC Jimmy was driving north on Townline Road, when she made a left turn onto Pinebush Road.

She collided with a 25-year-old Kitchener woman driving a Toyota Sienna Van south on Townline Road and the Jimmy flipped over onto its roof from the impact.

Nine people from both cars were taken to three separate hospitals, two out of region. Police said the injuries are not life-threatening.

The intersection has been closed while police investigate.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
