Slackware live edition boot problem from laptop hard drive
by sattvakarma from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5RQVD)
Hello,
Firstly, thank you AlienBob for the Slackware live edition! I downloaded the ISO and gave it a try on my laptop (Acer TravelMate P6 with 12 Gb RAM from 2018 running Windows 10 Pro x64) before deciding on installing it to the inbuilt LiteOn flash drive. It is truly an amazing accomplishment that you have shared!
The install went just fine with no errors. The Windows 10 version is on another internal Kingston 256Gb SSD.
Now when i try to boot the laptop and start into Slackware live, i am not getting any menu to choose the OS. It still directly boots into Windows 10 as before?
What have i missed in the installation/configuration? How can i boot into the Slackware live version on the laptop internal flash drive? Pointers/tips to solve this issue will be appreciated!
Regards,
Sattva
