The Seattle Seahawks officially activated quarterback Russell Wilson from injured reserve Friday, confirming his availability for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

The move was expected after Wilson was medically cleared Monday to return. The eight-time Pro Bowler, who hasn't played since Week 5 due to a ruptured tendon in the middle finger of his throwing hand, said Thursday that he's "really close" to being 100%.

Wilson, 32, posted a 72% completion rate with 10 touchdowns against one interception before being sidelined with the Seahawks sitting at 2-3.

Veteran Geno Smith replaced Wilson for three games, winning one.

The Seahawks also activated wide receiver Dee Eskridge from injured reserve Friday. The second-round rookie, who was Seattle's first pick in this year's draft, suffered a concussion in Week 1 and hasn't played since.
