Hello everyone, I am running into my first problem with using Linux.
Using Debian GNU/Linux 11.1.0 with Gnome 3.38.5
Laptop Acer / 8Gb ram / i5 CPU M 480 @ 2.67GHz * 4 / Intel integrated graphics
I cannot adjust the brightness. When I press on function+left arrow and function+right arrow it does move the brightness slider. but nothing actually changes. Same with using the slider at the top right next to the sound one, it just stays at 100% brightness.
I tried using the $ xbacklight -set 50 command but it prints "No outputs have backlight property"
I also tried "xrandr --output XWAYLAND0 --brightness 0.5" but it does nothing.
What can I do now?
